Rendair Alternative: An Honest Comparison for Architects

An honest Rendair alternative comparison: its plans and credits, where it is ahead, and where AI Render Studio is ahead for architects who need the building kept.

In this article

  • Rendair is a browser workspace with credit plans, boards for client approval and many AI models in one place
  • It is ahead on entry price, images per credit, floor plan to 3D, video and team seats
  • AI Render Studio is ahead on keeping your building: a drag line check, a free re-run when lines drift and automatic refunds for failed renders
  • Test both with the same view of your own project before you pay for either

Rendair is a browser workspace that turns a sketch, a floor plan or a 3D model view into renders, with boards where a client can comment and approve. It is a capable product with a large user base. People look for a Rendair alternative for a few clear reasons: they want the building in the render to stay the building they designed, they want to know what a failed render costs them, or they want prices in their own currency with tax included.

We make one of those alternatives, the AI Render Studio, so read this as a comparison written by a competitor. We state where Rendair is stronger as plainly as where we are. Every Rendair fact below comes from its pricing page and home page, read on 5 November 2026. Check those pages before you decide, because plans change.

What Rendair offers in 2026

Rendair runs in the browser with nothing to install. You start from a sketch, a 2D floor plan or a view of a 3D model, generate options, and then fix details by drawing over the image or by asking its assistant. It runs several AI image and video models side by side, and it can build a 3D project from a floor plan. Work lands on boards that you can share with a client for comments and approval.

The pricing page listed 3 self-serve plans on 5 November 2026, plus Enterprise. Prices do not include tax. Yearly billing gives 2 months free, and a second billing currency is available at checkout.

Plan Monthly Yearly What the page lists
Starter $19 a month $190 a year 500 credits a month, 1 seat, commercial license
Pro $49 a month $490 a year 1,500 credits a month, 2 members, priority queue, custom styles
Studio Pro $199 a month $1,990 a year 7,500 credits a month, 5 members, priority queue

Rendair says its credits are shared across every app: 500 credits come to about 500 images, or 100 upscales, or 25 videos. Text to image never uses credits. Unused credits carry over at each renewal, and extra seats on Pro and Studio Pro cost $19 a seat per month with 500 credits each. Rendair states that it does not train its own models on your files.

Where Rendair is stronger

A fair comparison starts with what the other tool does better. On the facts we could check, Rendair is ahead in these areas:

Have a 3D model? Our AI Render Studio turns a screenshot of it into a photoreal image in about 20 seconds. Your first render needs no account.

Render your model free
  • A lower entry price. Starter is the cheapest paid plan in this comparison, and its credits stretch to about 500 images a month.
  • More images per credit. If one credit is one image for your work, Rendair gives you more images for the money than our plans do. Upscales and videos cost more credits.
  • Floor plan to 3D. Rendair builds a 3D project from a 2D floor plan, with walls, rooms and volumes you can walk through.
  • Video and many models. It runs several image and video models in one workspace, and every plan includes videos.
  • Teams. Pro includes 2 members and Studio Pro includes 5, with more seats available.
  • Boards with client approval. Rendair has its own client comments and approval on boards. If that is the main reason you want an alternative, both tools have it.

Why choose a Rendair alternative

Our AI Render Studio is built around one promise: the building in the render is the building in your model. You upload a screenshot of a view from SketchUp, Revit, Archicad, Rhino or any other 3D program, and a photoreal render comes back in about 20 seconds.

The input: a plain screenshot of one of our own test models, with no materials or lights set up.

These are the points where we are ahead:

  • A free re-run when the lines drift. AI can still move a window or change a roof line. If that happens, the re-run is on us. Failed renders are refunded in credits automatically.
  • You can check that your building was kept. Every result opens with a drag line over your own screenshot, so you see what moved before a client does.
  • A separate interior mode. The app has 36 looks across exterior, interior, landscape and hand-drawn sketch styles, so a room is rendered as a room.
  • Client review links. On Pro and up you send a link. Your client comments on each render or approves it, with no account, and you get an email.
  • Prices you can read at a glance. Prices are shown in your currency with VAT or sales tax included where it applies. Credits never expire, even after you cancel.
  • The first render needs no account. You can try 1 render every 24 hours without signing up. After sign-up you get 5 renders and 5 fixes.
  • Your language, or your chat. The app is in 13 languages, and you can add it to ChatGPT or Claude as a connector and ask for a render in the chat.
  • A studio behind the tool. We are an architectural visualization studio with 1,200+ projects since 2013. When a job needs finished images, the same people can make them.

Rendair vs AI Render Studio side by side

The table uses what each company states on its own pages on 5 November 2026. “Not found” means we did not find it on the pages we read, not that it does not exist.

Our current plans and credit packs are on the AI Render Studio pricing page. We link to it instead of copying the prices here, because they are shown in each visitor’s currency.

Is Rendair free?

Rendair is free to start with 20 credits and no card. After that, you need a plan or extra credits. Its pricing page says every plan comes with a full commercial license.

Our free start works differently. Your first render needs no account at all. After sign-up you get 5 renders and 5 fixes. Free renders carry a small logo and are for personal use, so for client work you buy any plan or credit pack.

How to choose between the two

Rendair is a workspace for the whole concept stage. The AI Render Studio does one job: it turns a view of your model into a render that keeps the model. The choice comes down to which of those you need.

AI tools edit the image, not the model, so check every result against the model it came from.
  • Choose Rendair if you want many images for little money, floor plan to 3D, video, or one workspace for a team.
  • Choose AI Render Studio if renders go to clients and the building must stay as designed, you want a free re-run when the lines drift, or you want the price in your currency with tax included.
  • Test both with the same view of one of your own projects. Count the windows and floors in each result and compare the roof line with your model.

We also compared Rendair in more detail in our Rendair review. For other tools, read the mnml.ai alternative comparison, the MyArchitectAI alternative comparison and the best AI rendering software list.

When to use a studio instead

Rendair and our AI Render Studio both make images for options and early concepts. Neither one checks the image against your drawings. For planning, a competition jury or a sales launch, every detail must match, and a person should check it. For those images, we build the 3D model from your drawings and check it against them. See architectural visualization for how that works, or read the difference between CGI and AI.

Questions about Rendair and its alternatives

How much does Rendair cost?

On 5 November 2026 the pricing page listed Starter at $19 a month, Pro at $49 a month and Studio Pro at $199 a month, before tax. Yearly billing gives 2 months free.

What does a Rendair credit buy?

Rendair says 500 credits come to about 500 images, or 100 upscales, or 25 videos, or a mix. Text to image never uses credits, and unused credits carry over.

Does Rendair keep the geometry of my design?

Rendair’s pages talk about fixing a window, a height or a detail by drawing over the image. Any AI render can slip on details, so count the windows and floors and check the roof line on every result, whichever tool you use.

What is the best Rendair alternative for client work?

If renders go to clients, look for a way to check the result against your model and a clear rule for what happens when the AI gets it wrong. Our AI Render Studio has a drag line on every render, a free re-run when the lines drift and automatic refunds for failed renders. Your first render needs no account, so you can test it on your own model first.
