from your CAD drawings

3D furniture modeling services for brands, manufacturers and retailers: whole collections modelled exactly from your drawings, ready for catalogue renders, AR and product configurators.

  • Exact dimensions from your CAD or STEP files
  • Whole collections to one standard, with every finish
  • A paid pilot batch first, then the full collection

We take a limited number of collections at a time, so every model is checked against your drawings before it is delivered.

The short version

What is 3D furniture modeling?

Building an exact digital copy of a furniture product from its production drawings, so the same model can be used for catalogue images, AR views, room scenes and product configurators.

Photographing a collection happens once. A 3D model of it keeps working for every new finish, room and channel.

Furniture brands use 3D models instead of photo shoots for products that are not made yet, for finishes that would cost too much to photograph, and for channels that need 3D itself: AR on a product page, or a configurator where the customer picks the fabric.

We model from your CAD or STEP files, so the dimensions are exact, and we build each model for where it will be used. A collection is modelled to one standard, so a hundred products behave like one library.

For catalogue renders

Detailed models for white-background product images and furnished room scenes, at print quality.

For AR and the web

Light models for AR viewers and 3D on product pages, in the format your platform needs, with the detail kept where customers look.

For configurators

Models split into parts and finishes so a configurator can swap them. See 3D models for configurators.

Upholstered furniture

Sofas, armchairs and beds with believable cushions, seams and fabric that can be swapped for every cover.

3D model render of a solid timber bench

Tables and benches

Solid timber, veneers and metal frames, with the grain and edges modelled the way they are made.

Storage and modular systems

Shelving, cabinets and modular units, built from parts so every size and colour can be assembled.

The craft

What makes a furniture model usable

A furniture model is used for years, in places you may not have planned for. These are the things we check before it leaves.

Exact dimensions

Built from your CAD drawings, so the seat height, the depth and the joints match the product that is manufactured, not a lookalike.

Real materials

Oak grain that runs the right way, fabric weave at the right scale, powder coat with the right sheen. Materials are set up so they can be swapped for each finish.

One standard for the collection

Every model in a collection uses the same scale, naming and material setup, so a hundred products behave like one library.

Built for where it goes

A model for a catalogue render is not a model for an AR viewer. Say where it will be used and it is built for that, once.

Working with us

Working from your drawings, under NDA

A consistent set of framed images, illustrating one visual language

One standard for every model

Scale, naming and materials match across the collection, so your team can use the models without fixing each one.

You write to the modeller

Questions about a joint or a fabric go straight to the person who has the model open.

Signing a confidential agreement, illustrating NDA as standard

Unreleased products stay private

New collections stay off this website and off social media. We sign your NDA before your drawings arrive.

How a collection is modelled

From your drawings to a finished model library in four steps

One fixed price for the batch, agreed before any work starts, and the level of detail agreed on a pilot before the full collection.

Pilot

A paid pilot batch

10 to 20 products are modelled first, so the level of detail, the material setup and the file format are agreed before the rest.

Collection

The full collection to one standard

The remaining products follow the agreed standard, with every finish and variant. 2 revision rounds are included.

Delivery

A model library you can keep using

Native files and the formats your channels need, named and organised. New products and finishes later follow the same standard.

2 revision rounds included, then refined until you sign off. Delivered on the date we agree.

Furniture and products we have modelled

Product models and renders for manufacturers and brands across the Nordics, the Baltics and Europe.

What it costs

What decides the price of 3D furniture modeling

One fixed price for the batch, agreed before work starts, never a price per polygon. Here is what moves it.

  • How many different products

The number of distinct products, not the number of SKUs. Finishes and sizes of one product cost a fraction of a new product.

  • How complex each product is

A simple stool is quick. Woven seats, tufted upholstery and mechanisms take longer.

  • The state of your drawings

CAD or STEP files are quickest and exact. Photographs and approximate sizes mean reconstruction, which takes longer.

  • Finishes and fabrics

Each finish needs its material set up. A finish library shared across the collection keeps it efficient.

  • Where the models will be used

Catalogue renders, AR or a configurator each need a different build. Several uses from one model are planned up front.

  • Changes after sign-off

2 revision rounds are included. A product redesign after the model is approved is new work, and we say so before we start.

Questions we get asked

3D furniture modeling questions, answered

What furniture brands usually ask before their first collection. Still unsure? Send the drawings anyway; the quote reply says what is missing.

Ask us directly
What do you need to model our furniture?
The CAD drawings or STEP files from your design or production team, with the dimensions, plus the finishes and fabrics each product comes in. Photographs help with materials. From drawings the model is exact; from photographs alone it is a careful reconstruction, and we flag what we inferred.
Can you model a whole collection, not just one product?
Yes, and that is where we are most useful. A collection is modelled to one standard: the same scale, naming, material setup and level of detail, so the models work together in a catalogue, a room scene or a configurator.
How do you price a collection of hundreds of products?
As one fixed price for the batch, agreed before work starts. What moves it is the number of different products, how many share parts or frames, and the number of finishes. Variants of one product cost a fraction of new products, so collections with shared parts cost less per item.
Do you start with a pilot?
Yes. For a large collection we start with a paid pilot batch of 10 to 20 products, priced like normal work. It agrees the level of detail, the material setup and the file format before the full collection is modelled.
Which file formats do you deliver?
Native files such as .max, .fbx, .obj, .3ds, .blend or .skp, with textures. For an AR viewer or a configurator we deliver the format it needs, for example GLB or USDZ, and we confirm what that platform requires before the quote is fixed.
Do you also make the product renders and room scenes?
Yes. The same models are used for 3D product rendering, from white-background catalogue images to furnished room scenes, so the renders match the models your customers see in AR.
Who owns the models?
You do. Everything we deliver is yours to use in catalogues, on your website, in AR and in configurators, and we sign your NDA before your drawings arrive.
