Do the textures tile?
Yes. Every texture repeats without a visible seam, and the gallery shows each one repeated 2 x 2 so you can check before you download.
Which maps come with each texture?
A colour map and a normal map, both 2048 x 2048 pixel JPG files. The normal map uses the OpenGL convention (green up), as in Blender and SketchUp-based renderers. For software that uses the DirectX convention, invert the green channel.
Can I get roughness, height or ambient occlusion maps?
Yes: open the colour map in our free normal map generator. It makes normal, height, roughness and ambient occlusion maps in your browser, with no upload.
How large is one tile in real life?
Each card gives the area one tile covers, for example about 2 x 2 m for floorboards. Set that as the texture size in your 3D program and the material appears at real scale.
Can I use the textures in commercial projects?
Yes, in renders, animations and client work. When you publish the work online, credit Texture: 3Dstudio.co with a link. You cannot sell or share the texture files themselves.
Are these photographs of real materials?
No. They are AI-generated by 3Dstudio.co and made to tile. They look like the named materials, but for an exact product finish use the manufacturer's own textures.
Do I need to sign up or pay?
No. Every file is a direct download, and the only condition is the credit when you publish.
