The London market

Architectural rendering for London projects

Most London projects change a building that is already there: a rear extension, a new roof storey, the conversion of a Victorian terrace, or a new block on a narrow site between existing buildings.

In London a new building is judged next to its neighbours, so the image must show the neighbours accurately.

That is why our London work starts with the context. We model the street from your survey, your site photographs and the neighbouring elevations, and we place the camera where a person really stands. Many London sites are in a conservation area, so the brick, the window pattern and the roof line of the street are modelled as they are, not simplified.

The UK is one of our regular markets. 22 of the 290 images in our portfolio are from UK projects and 7 of these are in London. 15 of the UK images are interiors, and the others are street views of houses, shops and mixed-use buildings.

What London developers need

Images for the sales launch of new flats, usually long before the building is finished: a street-level exterior, 2 or 3 interiors of the show flat, and a floor plan for each flat type. One 3D model gives all of them, so the whole set matches.

What London architects need

Views for a planning application or a pre-application meeting, from the viewpoints the case officer asks for. After consent, the same model can produce the developer's sales images.

What London interior designers need

Interior images that let a private client approve a scheme before the joinery, stone and furniture are ordered. Period details such as cornices, panelling and sash windows are modelled from your drawings.

Questions

Questions from London clients

Questions about price, timing and files are answered on our FAQ page.

Ask us directly
Can you make images for a London planning application?
Yes. We make the street views and aerial views that a planning application or a pre-application meeting needs, with the neighbouring buildings modelled from your survey and photographs. Tell us which viewpoints the case officer has asked for. If the council asks for a verified view, send the surveyor's camera positions and we place the camera to them. The verification itself comes from the surveyor.
Can you show a new building in a conservation area next to its historic neighbours?
Yes. The neighbouring buildings are modelled from your photographs and elevations, with their real brick colour, window pattern and roof line. The new building is then shown at the same level of detail, so a planning officer can compare them fairly.
Do you render interiors for London flats and period houses?
Yes. 15 of our 22 UK portfolio images are interiors: kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living rooms and entrance halls in flats and houses. Send the plans, the elevations of each wall and your finishes schedule.
Can you add furniture to photographs of an empty London flat?
Yes. That is virtual staging. Send the photographs and tell us the style and the type of buyer or tenant. The images are prepared at the size that property portals such as Rightmove and Zoopla use.
How are UK companies invoiced?
We invoice in pounds (GBP), paid to a local UK bank account, or in euros. No Estonian VAT is added to the invoice for a UK business. The payment terms are written in the quote, so you know them before the work starts.
