In this article

  • 10 studios compared by location, focus, services, Dubai address, recent activity and Clutch rating, plus 3Dstudio.co.
  • UAE-based studios and international studios with a Dubai office are listed separately.
  • Dubai rules for property ads that use renders, and the launch set to order.
  • 7 questions to send every studio, and how time zones work between Dubai and Europe.

This list compares 10 studios that work in Dubai and the UAE, plus 3Dstudio.co (our studio). 3MD Studio, Blackwhite Viz, Dubai3DMax and RARE Design Hive are based in the UAE. Binyan Studios, Format 3D, Omegarender, Render Atelier, VisEngine and Yantram Studio are international studios with a Dubai office or Dubai service pages, and 3Dstudio.co works remotely from Tallinn, Estonia.

These 3D visualization companies, also called architectural rendering companies or architectural visualization studios, all list 3D rendering as a main service and have an office in the UAE or a UAE service page. No single studio is best for every project, so the table and entries show where each one is based, what it offers and what it says it focuses on. If you want to see how we work, read about our architectural visualization service.

About this list: it is written by 3Dstudio.co, and we include ourselves, marked as our studio. Every other entry uses facts from the studio’s own website or its Clutch profile, checked in October 2026. Featured on this list and something has changed? Contact us through 3dstudio.co and we will update the entry.

How we chose these studios

We started with the studios that appear in searches for 3D rendering companies in Dubai and the UAE, and kept the ones we could check on their own websites. A studio was included when it met these points:

  • Architectural visualization is its core business, or a clearly named service line.
  • It shows a public portfolio. The table says where we found dated posts, news or site updates from 2024 or later, and where we did not.
  • It has an office in the UAE or a service page for UAE clients.
  • Its website states what services it offers and who it works for.
  • It has an independent profile, such as Clutch, where one exists. Some studios have none, and that is not a mark against them.

We left out studios whose sites we could not check and, apart from our own studio, studios with no sign of a UAE office or UAE clients. A field we could not find is marked “not listed” or “not found”.

Dubai and UAE 3D rendering companies compared

“Based in” follows what each studio’s own website says. “Dubai address published” shows whether the studio gives a street address in Dubai, so you can tell a real office from a service page. The Clutch column shows a rating only where a studio’s Clutch profile has one.

Our studio

3Dstudio.co (our studio)

3Dstudio.co is an architectural visualization studio in Tallinn, Estonia. We make off-plan marketing images, floor plans and animations for real estate developers. We have been in business since 2013 and have completed 1,247 projects for 215 client companies in 17 countries, and 125 of 220 clients came back for another project. We are rated 5.0 on Clutch.

The process has 4 stages: you upload files, we build a grey clay model, you approve a first-look preview, and we deliver the final images in 4K. After you send your files, you get a reply within 30 minutes: a fixed price and a delivery date, or the 1-2 questions we need answered first. Every project includes 2 revision rounds, and we work under NDA as standard. We work remotely, so nobody needs to visit. See our Dubai page for how we work remotely on a UAE project. Best for: developers who want one fixed price and a delivery date before work starts.

Dubai rules for property ads that use renders

Property ads in Dubai need an advertising permit from the Dubai Land Department (DLD). Companies apply for it through the DLD’s Trakheesi system, and the permit number goes on the ad. Guidance for agents says an off-plan ad should also show the developer name, the escrow account number, the expected completion date and the proposed service fees.

The guidance we read covers the permit and the facts the ad must state, not the images. A render in an ad is still part of that ad, so the safe practice is to show the approved design: no extra floors, no amenities that are not planned and no view the plot does not have. To keep that true:

  • Send the approved drawings, not an early concept.
  • Ask the studio to check the clay model against those drawings. This is stage 2 of how our 4-stage rendering process works.
  • Keep a note of the drawing revision each image was made from.

The developer or broker who places the ad holds the permit. Confirm the current rules with the Dubai Land Department before you publish.

How to choose a rendering company for Dubai

A portfolio shows what a studio can make. The points below show how a studio works with you, and they apply to every studio on this list, including us. For the full checklist, read our guide to how to compare 3D rendering companies.

What a launch set contains

Off-plan sales usually start on a fixed date, so decide what you need before you ask for quotes. Our guide to rendering for pre-construction marketing covers what to prepare. A typical launch set has these parts:

Top-down 3D floor plan of a hotel suite with a double bed, a herringbone parquet floor, a lounge chair and an en-suite bathroom, Estonia
A top-down 3D floor plan of a hotel suite, an example of the one plan per layout that a launch set includes.
3D exterior rendering of a white pool house with a dark metal roof, a covered terrace and a pool, USA
3D exterior rendering of a pool house with a covered terrace, USA.
Deliverable What it shows Where it is used
Aerial view The building in its surroundings Hoarding and the hero image on portals
Exterior street view The facade at eye level Brochure cover and website
Amenity images Pool, gym, lobby, roof terrace Brochure and portal listings
Unit interiors One image per unit type Brochure and sales gallery
3D floor plans One plan per layout Brochure and unit selector
Animation A walkthrough or flythrough, delivered as MP4 Sales gallery and social media

Tick the deliverables you need against this table, then ask each shortlisted studio which ones it makes itself and which it hands to a partner. Also ask whether it can keep the same style across the whole set.

Time zone and working week

Dubai uses Gulf Standard Time (UTC+4) all year, with no daylight saving. Tallinn is UTC+2 in winter and UTC+3 in summer, so it is 2 hours behind Dubai in winter and 1 hour behind in summer. The UAE federal government works Monday to Friday, with Friday a half day. Private companies set their own hours, so ask each studio for its working days and the hours when it answers messages.

7 questions to send every studio

Send the same questions to each studio on your shortlist and compare the written answers.

  1. What is the price and the delivery date, and what happens if the date is missed? A clear answer gives one fixed price and one date before work starts. Ours: one fixed price and one delivery date, agreed before work starts. See how our fixed project price works.
  2. Which deliverables do you make in-house? A clear answer names each item from the launch set table above.
  3. How many revision rounds are included, and what counts as a new image? A clear answer separates a change to an existing view from a new view. Ours: 2 revision rounds are included, then we refine until sign-off.
  4. Can we use the images on portals, hoardings, brochures and social media with no extra fee? A clear answer is a plain yes in writing. Ours: you get full usage rights to every delivered image, with no license fee.
  5. Do you sign an NDA before we send files? An unreleased project is usually confidential. We work under NDA as standard.
  6. Will you check the model against the approved drawings? A clear answer describes a step where a person compares the model with the drawings before the final images.
  7. Who keeps the 3D scene, and what do later views cost? A clear answer says who owns the scene files and how a new view is priced. Ours: the scene stays with us, which keeps later views cheaper. Our guide to what drives 3D rendering cost explains why.

To compare us with your shortlist, request a quote with your drawings, a PDF or even a photo of a sketch.

Questions about 3D rendering companies in Dubai

What is the best 3D rendering company in Dubai?

No single studio is best for every project. If you want a local office for in-person meetings, look at the UAE-based group. If you want CGI together with film or interactive sales tools, Binyan Studios and VisEngine list those services. If you want an international studio with a published Dubai address, look at Format 3D, Render Atelier and Yantram Studio. If you want one fixed price and a delivery date before work starts, that is how 3Dstudio.co works. Compare 2 or 3 studios with the 7 questions above.

How much does 3D rendering cost in Dubai?

Studios set prices in different ways, for example per image, per project or by the hour. Ask each studio for one fixed price for the whole project, together with a delivery date, before work starts. We quote that way: see how our fixed project price works and our guide to what drives 3D rendering cost.

Do renders in Dubai property ads have to match the approved design?

Dubai property ads need a Dubai Land Department advertising permit, issued through the Trakheesi system, and the permit number must be on the ad. The guidance we read does not set separate rules for renders, but a render is part of the ad, so it should show the approved design. Send the approved drawings, keep a note of the drawing revision each image was made from, and confirm the current rules with the Dubai Land Department.

How long does a 3D rendering take for a Dubai launch?

At 3Dstudio.co, a single view takes about a week and a medium set takes 2 to 3 weeks. You get a reply within 30 minutes of receiving your files. Other studios set their own timelines, so ask each one for a delivery date in writing.

Do I need a studio with a Dubai office for architectural rendering in the UAE?

Not usually. A studio can work remotely from drawings, and a map or photos give the surroundings. We work this way for every project. A local office helps with meetings in person. For more on this, read when outsourcing 3D rendering makes sense.

Which 3D rendering companies are based in the UAE?

On this list, Dubai3DMax, RARE Design Hive and Blackwhite Viz describe themselves as UAE-based or Dubai-based, and 3MD Studio publishes an address in Dubai Production City. RARE Design Hive says it is Dubai-based, while its published address is in Sharjah. Render Atelier lists a Dubai office but names no headquarters, so it is in the international group.
